ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hello there! my name is Diya Chawla, a year 11 student from Vadodara, India. I started this blog with the intention of discussing relevant information regarding economics in a crisp and concise manner in order to make it engaging for readers of all age groups, especially teenagers.

I hope you enjoy reading my content as much as I enjoy writing it.

Feel free to offer your inputs and suggestions below, happy reading!

  Other co-curriculars and hobbies

Listed below are some of my other passions and hobbies.

Miniature Art

Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with miniatures, I like to spend my spare time( when the motivation strikes) making cute miniatures, mostly animals.

Research

I enjoy indulging in researching absolutely obscure and irrelevant things, for example tardigrades or water bears and where to find them.

Public Speaking

In the past, public speaking seemed to me to be worse than jumping off a cliff. It has, however, turned into one of my greatest talents and hobbies. It allows me to voice my opinions and beliefs.

Script Writing

As someone who loves both acting and writing script writing is the perfect activity, I do not often do it as an individual project but rather for school activities.

Animal Welfare

My earliest experience with animal welfare was nursing dehydrated birds followed by caring for stray cats and helping raise their kittens. I made a best friends with a cat named Leo along my journey.

Poetry

I mostly write poems involving associating nature with human emotions. I also often write poems on the mind of a perfectionist student, as an attempt to vent out my frustration.

Why I started EconomicExpeditions

For this venture I had two inital reasons:

1. I am a commerce student and wanted to dive deeper into economics and business affairs.

2. I am an aspiring journalist at the same time.

This led me to the idea of merging my academics with my favorite co-curricular activity. This helps me sharpen my writing skills and research relevant topics. Most importantly, share the knowledge that I gather with others in a creative manner!

The world of economics is so vast It is a social science, that is not about the past Just when you think you know enough Economics will pull up with a tonne of more stuff

Founder-EconomicExpeditions

“The world is witnessing depletion of all types of natural resources. In such a scenario, circular economy is the demand of the hour and we have to make it a mandatory part of our lives”
